The butterflies and birds are numerous and the sunsets are fabulous. Close to el Parque Tayrona and la Ciudad Perdida (the Lost City), the residents of Taganga are friendly, helpful, and capable. And patient enough to correct bad Spanish and to learn a few more words of English. Plus the area is “laid back” enough to be relaxing. With two PADI dive centers and the fabulous Casa de Felipe, Taganga has become very popular among world travelers.

Some Observations on Tattoos in South America
